Mission:
The rock salt needs to be separated and processed underground. For this purpose, the main material stream is pre-graded by means of a bar screen after the first crushing process (roller crusher). As far as the separation equipment is concerned, this stream contains both coarse and fine material, which needs to be separated by means of a screen. The coarser and finer material will be returned to the main material flow at ground level, while the medium size material will be conveyed to the separation plant for rock salt separation. The present task was to provide a suitable sifter to separate the feed stream into the above mentioned size classes. One of the most important constraints was the limited height of the underground installation space, which had to be strictly adhered to.
Solution:
AViTEQ AviTEQ The machine is designed as a fine screening machine (model: VSF1840/5600ASS-UVP119W) with replaceable screen inserts. The upper screen deck is used to screen coarse material with a particle size greater than 3.0 mm and the lower screen deck is used to screen out fine material with a particle size of less than 1.0 mm. The screen machine is constructed in a frame design with screen inserts embedded in the frame and secured by the upper frame and cover plate. The entire frame is fastened to each other by means of threaded rods.
