   With the help of vibration, the tamping and fluffing of bulk materials can be realized. For example, intermittent vibration is used to eliminate or reduce the static friction between the material and the silo wall. In addition to the need for better emptying of containers, they are also often used when releasing viscous materials, such as in casting molds. Another application is the tamping of bulk materials, typical of which is concrete tamping.
